My boyfriend is English, so I had to come for the fourth time to visit, this time for our anniversary.
England is a particular country, it rains almost all the time, but in the short period of time that it’s not raining, you can admire the landscapes with the omnipresent sun. It certainly looks like the books describe it, it inspires me Romanticism, the green grass with sheep, the victorian and gothic architecture, the mysterious, lovely and freshly parks with the lakes. And the castles, I love castles! 😍🏰

The thing I like the most about this country is the houses, these lovely houses with orange blocks and triangles roof, but seriously, I like so many things.

I like the way you can see and hear the rain falling down the roof, I like my family in law (even if I can’t stop thinking how much I miss my own family).
I feel a bit weird sometimes, all these blonde heads or coloured eyes, I feel sort of the Indians when English and Spanish colonized America, different, I am in fact, I am Latin-American as you are well aware, but physically I am not entirely brunette of skin, my parents are Europeans, yet it catches my attention they are surprised about how dark my hair and eyes are.
The first time the mother of my boyfriend saw me, she said “Wow, look at this dark hair, and those eyes”. After this, I defined myself as exotic.
England has many sports, like cricket (which I still don’t understand how it works), golf, football, rugby, etc. The last time I went I tried to play golf, but I failed at the tentative, it was fun tho.

I like the way English people are so kind and relaxed, and well-mannered, I really like them, they are recognised as cold globally, but I think they are just reserved, In my opinion, it’s good quality. I’m glad I am allowed to travel and meet new cultures and preserve these memories in my heart.

You are exotic where ever you Will go
