International Flamenco Day

“If I could tell you what I feel, it wouldn’t be worth dancing”

Happy International Flamenco Day to all the dancers around the world.

For the ones new in the blog, I suggest you to read: What flamenco is on the main page.

This is our day dancers, I’m grateful for choosing flamenco in my life,

it gives me energy, purpose, and happiness.

Flamenco is passion, art, feelings, and expression, and we all know it is a UNESCO heritage for a reason.

In November 2010, UNESCO declared it Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity at the initiative of the autonomous communities of Andalusia, Extremadura and Murcia. It is also Andalusian Ethnological Intangible Cultural Heritage and is registered in the General Inventory of Movable Property of the Region of Murcia established by the General Directorate of Fine Arts and Cultural Property.

You can even study Flamenco at University (Huelva, Cadiz, Sevilla y Cordoba), this complex art contains dance, singing and guitar and Cajon.

I invite all of you worldwide to keep dancing and preserving this beautiful art 💓❤️💃
